Gujarat State win 9 awards for Best Performance in Renewable Energy Sector

• Shining at the national level, Gujarat State has won 9 awards in different categories for excellence in the Renewable Energy Sector during year 2021-22. Hon’ble Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy and Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India, Shri Bhagwanth Khuba, chief guest of the function, felicitated the award winners. Award organizer - Association of Renewable Energy Agencies of States (AREAS) distributed these awards on its 8th Foundation Day Awards ceremony held at Kochi on 27th August 2022.

A+ Ratings to all four DISCOMs of GUVNL

• Continuing its excellence at the national level, State-owned GUVNL’s all four power distribution companies viz. Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (DGVCL), Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (MGVCL), Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (UGVCL) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd. (PGVCL) have again secured A+ Ratings in the Tenth Annual Integrated Ratings unveiled by the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India on 5th August 2022.
